Full Time Courses

Lilian Bishop Tutors offer full time one or two year A-level courses. Both A-Level and GCSE courses are typically taken over a two year period but can be taken over a year depending on the commitment and previous educational experience of the student. . The contact time for each subject will be at least five hours for A – Level and four hours for GCSE.

Part Time Courses

For those that are currently in full time education but would benefit from supplementary lessons, you can order an intensive course of three sessions consisting of three hours to refresh you on all aspects of the syllabus as well as advice on how to tackle typical exam questions. This is ideal for students who have fallen behind in their studies and need that extra boost.

Revision Classes

For those who find it difficult to get on with work on their own, lacking the structure of timetabled lessons and who suffer the normal distractions of working at home this is ideal. With a experienced teacher in the field at hand to offer advice and encouragement students you can be confident of making the most of the time spent revising, available during the Christmas and Easter holidays for when that intensive push is needed.

Help with a particular assignment

Lillian Bishop have an on line facility whereby typed, or hand written and then scanned essays can be marked and feedback provided quickly. There are current OCR and Edexcel examiners available to mark essays to the GSCE, AS and A2 level standards and give feedback Essay will be returned with annotated comments highlighted the ways grades can be improved. For an opportunity to receive more detailed verbal feedback and discuss the work directly with an examiner, a phone back service is available
