About Us
Lillian Bishop Tutoring specialise in A – Level and
GCSE teaching. We have a wealth of educational experience
to call on. All our teaching staff are fully qualified and
well versed in their chosen academic field. We believe that
the student should be at the centre of their learning. To
this end we offer a bespoke educational service which seeks
to meet students’ particular requirements. Each of our
students have their own experience of education and own goals
to achieve.
Here at Lilian Bishop Tutors
we are committed to treating each student as an individual.
There are a range of tutoring services on offer which, where
appropriate can be used a variety of combinations to meet
individual student needs.
How we work
The classes are very small,
usually with three or four students in each group. The lessons
are conducted in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Classes
are serious and hard-working with each student benefiting
of individual attention as well as the opportunity to participate
in lively group discussions. Students find the classes both
extremely rewarding and good fun.
Full time courses run during
the day between 9am – 6pm and Part Time 6pm –
9pm Monday to Friday. Students are welcome to use our facilities,
including use of computers with access to the internet at
any time. Full time students are allocated a personal tutor
who will meet with the learner at least once every two weeks.
However, for all our students, there will always be someone
on hand to answer any questions.
Of course, the amount of
work required will depend on the subject in question but in
most cases the amount of homework required is usually substantial
and students should expect to work hard.
Where appropriate regular
reports will be sent to parents to keep them informed of student
progress and achievement.
